During the spring and winter of 2020, I created Hyperloyal, a start-up for local loyalty via the start-up generator Antler. The idea was to give small local service outlets the same opportunity to create loyalty and interesting customer journeys that large cooperations have. The strength lay in creating local personalised experiences that were unique to each person.
The Challenge
Physical businesses and local traders are exposed to competition increasingly of e-commerce and large service providers.
Without big budgets and a lot of data, which gives big benefits when new offers to be designed, stands out less players smooth in the competition.
The Solution
By creating a publishing tools for standardised customer travel can local service outlets provide the same customer experience as them major cooperations.
By using techniques such as Just matured like Apple’s Wallet, QR codes and Progressive Web Apps, given the opportunity to get full app functionality and interactive at low cost. This with a low threshold when the user does not need to download a new app per shop or office.
The Result
The prototype I took was well received by consumers. However, the pandemic paved the way for further processing of traders and shops for validation.
I also got good feedback from Apple on the intended service. They believed that the timing was right and that the technology matured so much that this was an interesting one ways to use the technique.
